"Why, mommy?" .......
I have a little
toddler grandson right now who is still at the stage of taking in everything he
sees in the world around him, without really talking about it. He points, he
smiles, he laughs, he claps, he runs toward, he touches. But he hasn’t really
started talking yet. He hasn’t started asking “Why?”.
I love how a child’s
questions are both simple and deep. Asking questions means we’re engaging with
the world around us. It’s healthy to ask questions.
I believe God is good with
us asking questions, too. He’s all ears and, because He loves us, He will
reveal the answers at the right time. We may want the answers sooner than we
get them, though!
